For my students' science class they had to design and build a balloon-powered vehicle. I decided to make one myself and this is how it turned out. In the trial run it went about 6 meters. That was better than some of the student vehicles, but at least one went about 15 meters. The rules were that it had to be powered only by a nine-inch balloon, it had to be built from household items, and it had to have at least 3 wheels. If I were to make another one, I would try to make it as small and light as possible, but this one did okay.
